Stefan Matthews

Stefan Matthews is a co-founder of nChain and has been serving as the Executive Chairman of nChain Group since 2015. Stefan has played a pivotal role in driving innovation and the adoption of blockchain technology worldwide. His visionary leadership has propelled nChain to the forefront of the blockchain revolution with a commitment to fostering a decentralized future. Under his guidance, nChain continues to push the boundaries of blockchain solutions, empowering businesses, and individuals to harness the full potential of this technology. He is a founding member and sits on the Executive Committee of the non-profit organisation BSV Association (registered in Switzerland) which seeks to build a regulation-friendly ecosystem that fosters lawful conduct while encouraging digital currency and blockchain innovation. Stefan holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration in Finance from the University of New England, in 1988 and a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the University of New England in 2003.
