Mathieu Ducroux
Mathieu is a Senior Researcher in the R&D Innovation Programme at nChain. He is responsible for the design of new protocols that enable true, scalable peer-to-peer (P2P) payments in Bitcoin. He is also involved in the design of Teranode, the next generation of the Bitcoin node software. Additionally, Mathieu is working on the IPv6 programme, which explores how to integrate Bitcoin with IPv6. A talented researcher, he is always on the lookout for new ideas and new opportunities in the market. He is skilled in network security, distributed systems, and cryptography. Mathieu holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and a Master’s in Cyber Security from EPFL and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.
