Dr Hamid Attar
Hamid is a Researcher in the Emerging Technology Programme. He explores the convergence of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence. Formerly a Research Associate at Imperial College London, Hamid pioneered machine learning in metal forming engineering for optimal 3D geometries in automotive and aerospace components. With over 13 peer-reviewed publications, he is an authoritative figure in applied machine learning, now applying his expertise to the realm of blockchain technology, aiming to enhance security, scalability, and overall efficiency within the decentralised landscape. Hamid's innovative commitment and extensive applied machine learning background uniquely position him to offer valuable insights and solutions to the evolving intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence. Hamid holds a PhD in Design Engineering with a machine learning focus from Imperial College London and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Surrey.
