Dr Alessio Pagani
Alessio is a Research Director at nChain and leads the Emerging Technology Programme. He is responsible for long-term strategic projects such as IPv6 and Web3, as well as long-term partnerships with academic institutions. His research focuses on the dynamics of the Bitcoin network, collecting and analysing data to extract novel information. Alessio combines emerging technologies with blockchain to solve real-world problems. His most recent work focuses on scaling IoT networks using IPv6 and Bitcoin. Alessio is an Industrial Fellow at the Institute for Mathematical Innovation at the University of Bath. He has a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and a PhD in Information Technology from Politecnico di Milano.
