Dr Michaella Pettit

Micha is a Research Director, leading the strategy and delivery of the IP portfolio at nChain. She’s also responsible for the Innovation research programme. Micha inspires the team to constantly grow and share knowledge. She and her dedicated team created the Knowledge Base, an industry-first knowledge share of one of the largest and most influential IP portfolios. She is also an elected member of the Bitcoin SV Technical Standards Committee, promoting technical excellence and interoperability. Micha is a specialist in threshold signatures and multi-party computation, zero-knowledge proofs, token protocols, cryptography and script programming. Micha holds a Master’s in Mathematics and Physics and a PhD in String Theory from King’s College London.
